Idea Generation
The first part of many idea management processes is the generation of a new idea. The front-end of innovation includes engagement of the audience, submission of new ideas, collaboration on those ideas and in many cases peer review.

Many users will interact with HypeIMT by submitting a new idea; this may be in response to a specific campaign or to an on-going theme for which the company always requires ideas. An idea submission form can be configured by a trained in-house professional, asking users to submit their ideas, add attachments and invite others to add to that idea.
Throughout the year, you may run a number of campaigns on different themes; each will have a sponsor, a clearly stated requirement and explain what next steps, ideas or solutions of high quality will go through.
Ideas could come from employees or, as in some of our solutions, third parties such as customers and suppliers. Bringing together different groups of people that usually don’t interact increases your chances of getting ideas you’ve never considered before.
Ideas may be reviewed by the employee group where the ‘crowd’ dictates the best approach.
Ideas may also be assessed by a specific review team or group of experts with knowledge in the field. They can score and rank ideas according to key criteria, before making recommendations to sponsors and stakeholders.
The review team has access to analytics and reporting, helping them to make good decisions. They can bring in other expertise, complete assessments and forward ideas to others.
