Who we are

HYPE supports idea and innovation managers with software and services to build and grow their innovation programs. Our software gives companies a tool to collect, manage, evaluate, and execute ideas while our expert consultants provide support along the way. Our clients are the boots on the ground who turn everything upside down in their companies. They're the ones that continuously challenge the status quo. And we have the honor to work with them.

We love working closely with our clients, and to do that, we've spread ourselves around the world. HYPE has offices and employees across the globe, with our European headquarters in Bonn, Germany. This job is based in Bonn.

During the last 10 years, HYPE has developed an event series to cater to our clients. We run events both for innovation managers from organizations across the globe as well as idea managers in the German speaking part of Europe. On top, we selectively sponsor external events to generate leads and spread the HYPE.

Now we need you to help us continue and expand the best events on the planet! Ok, “on the planet” is pretty bold, but some ambition helps!



What you'll do 

  • You assist in finding venues and hosts for our awesome forums (research, requests for availability, for quotes…).
  • You assist in coordinating services providers and logistics (venues, caterers, IT crews…).
  • You are in charge of communicating with speakers and participants for German-speaking events.
  • You  assist in planning and in implementing communications around events (landing pages, news articles, social media posts).
  • You help plan and control the expenses for events.
  • You assist in building the event strategy (research clients’ needs and expectations, develop new formats of events).


Your profile

  • You have excellent organizational skills!.
  • Time is on your side – keeping deadlines is your second nature.
  • You know how to prioritize competing assignments, and you know when to ask for help.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, in both speaking and writing (additional European languages is a bonus).
  • You are not scared of working with modern marketing automation and content management systems (any prior experience, especially with HubSpot, is a bonus).

What's next after you apply?


Step 1 - Interview

If your background is a match, we usually do the first interview in person. We like meeting applicants face to face, but if you live remote we'll gladly hop on a Skype or phone call. You'll meet someone from HR as well as a colleague from the department you'd be joining. We want to get to know the real you, so be yourself and ask questions! We'll gladly give you detailed insights into your future role and the company.



Step 2 - Meet the team

Job interviews sometimes don't provide the full picture. That's why we offer a "Schnuppertag," which is essentially a sniff-out day where you can breathe HYPE air, see the office, meet your co-workers, and see how HYPE employees work together. We want to make sure you have a solid basis for your decision to join the HYPE family.
