Currently HYPE Innovation is looking for a Senior Sales Executive who is based in the Eastern USA, preferably Massachusetts.

Our client community includes global companies such as Airbus, BAE Systems, Boeing, Foot Locker, Fujitsu, LinkedIn, Mattel, PWC, Toyota, UNICEF, and Unilever, and many more. Our 150 employees are spread across three continents, our corporate headquarters is in Bonn, Germany.

 

Job Description

We are looking to grow our Pre-Sales team. We support our sales consultants by presenting software and services solutions to our prospects and clients. Our goal is to find the solution that best solves our clients’ innovation challenges. We explain complex software in a simple and easy to understand way. With every pitch, we learn about the processes and plans of the largest and most innovative companies in the world.

Pre-Sales at HYPE is both a business and technical role. It is just as important to understand the customer’s business requirements as it is to identify the right technical solution. Candidates must be able to quickly understand clients’ use cases and present how HYPE meets those requirements and the value our products deliver.
 
We are looking for someone who knows how to collaborate well in a team, who is sensitive to clients' needs and who feels at home in an international environment. The team consists of highly motivated colleagues with different cultural and academic backgrounds. What unites us all is our curiosity to learn something new every day, as well as our passion to find the best possible solution for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the presentation of solutions online and on-site to interested parties worldwide, as well as at trade fairs and conferences.
  • Holistic consulting of companies for the successful introduction of our innovation management solutions, considering all customer-specific facets (with regard to culture, processes and technology).
  • Responding effectively to requests for proposals.
  • Close collaboration with colleagues from sales, marketing, IT and product development.
  • Flexible worker, able to adapt your schedule to address activities in different time zones.

What you bring to the table:

  • Your personality: your independent and efficient way of working as well as your creativity and passion at work. You are a team player who loves autonomy in your role, with great collaboration and communication skills.
  • University degree in computer science, economics, communications, business, or a comparable course of study.
  • The ability to prepare and present a complex software solution with confidence to prospects of various organizational levels.
  • IT affinity and the ability to acquire in-depth knowledge of a complex software product.
  • Initial experience in project management (ideally in the implementation of software projects) is desirable.
  • Once the pandemic abates, willingness to travel 2-3 days per month.
  • Native English speaker.
  • Spanish or additional languages could also be helpful.
