We are looking for an experienced product manager to lead HYPE’s Ideation product and squad. Ideation is one of several squads in the product team, which focuses on the idea management aspects of the HYPE Enterprise platform (learn more about Ideation here).

Your role will be to lead this squad and deliver on the business objectives for idea management. This will include setting the strategy for the product, defining the roadmap, and scoping out solutions to customer problems. You’ll work closely with designers and developers to deliver these solutions.

As a product manager, you’ll be responsible for doing customer research, supporting sales and marketing, writing user stories, wireframing, looking at product data for insights and analysis, backlog prioritization, and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the business.

  • Testing mockups and ideas with customers

  • Supporting sales and marketing with product knowledge

What we are looking for:

  • Several years’ experience in product management. This would preferably be in B2B software, with experience supporting large multi-national customers, but other backgrounds can be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills are really fundamental to this role. The product manager sits at the heart of the company, and you'll be dealing with all kinds of stakeholders on a daily basis. Being a clear and confident communicator is a must.
  • Good at information gathering and presenting analysis. You will often have to gather input from multiple sources, including customer research, and present the results back to people.
  • A self-starter. As a product manager, you are empowered to decide what to work on and when. But this also means you need to be a strong self-starter. You need to prioritise what is important and what can wait. Are you happy to define what needs to be done and just get started?
  • Always do your homework. You will be responsible for running many initiatives, making decisions and ensuring those around you have the information they need. This means you must be somebody who prepares and thinks through different scenarios, and what information others will need. This role really does require you to do your homework.
  • Humble in nature. At HYPE we prefer to hire people that don't take themselves too seriously and have a humble nature.
  • A technical degree or related experience can be an advantage. This can be helpful when working with development, but this is not essential.
