About HYPE Innovation

Innovation is central to being successful – and our customers are innovators. We at HYPE support them in the organisation of innovation programs with software and consulting. We help expanding innovation programs from idea management to partner management as well as trend and technology scouting. HYPE has been in business for over 20 years and we have more than 160 employees around the world.

Our customers are called Idea or Innovation Managers and they are responsible for shaking things up and keeping their company relevant. We love to work with them! To be close to our customers we are spread out over multiple locations with our headquarters in Bonn and further offices in Frankfurt, Braunschweig, Boston and Lyon.

We are looking for someone like you to support us in Bonn, Frankfurt, Köln or a remote location of your choice.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • We work on multiple exciting products for and with our customers: We offer established Java based web applications as well as highly scalable cloud products on current JavaScript frameworks.
  • You will implement new solutions and maintain and improve our existing offerings. You will do this in a squad of multiple developers, a product manager, a designer and a QA colleague.
  • You will expand and share your knowledge in pair programming and regular tech talks.

 

Your Profile:

  • You have practical knowledge of software development with Java. We are open to all levels of experience.
  • Depending on your personal preferences you can work more on the frontend or backend of our applications: HTML, JavaScript and web frameworks are as important to us as security, performance, quality and architecture.
  • You speak German or English on a B2 level or better.
  • You like to work as a team and take responsibility for the team’s work.
  • You think proactively about ways to improve our products and present your ideas to the team.
