HYPE supports idea and innovation managers with software and services to build and grow their innovation programs. Our software gives companies a tool to collect, manage, evaluate, and execute ideas while our expert consultants provide support along the way. Our clients are the boots on the ground who turn everything upside down in their companies. They're the ones that continuously challenge the status quo. And we have the honor to work with them.

We love working closely with our clients, and to do that, we've spread ourselves around the world. HYPE has offices and employees across the globe, with our European headquarters in Bonn, Germany. This job is based in our office in sunny Lyon, France.


What you'll do

You will support the country manager in developing HYPE Innovation in the French market. It includes marketing and business development (SDR) tasks.

  • Marketing:
    • You develop communication supports to generate new contacts.
    • You translate from English to French and update publications.
    • You update the French interface of the website with Hubspot.
    • You write news articles in English and French.
    • You animate and manage the LinkedIn France page: You produce visuals to accompany the publications, regular publications and statistics.
  • Business Development:
    • You manage new contacts generated by inbound marketing: first contact and follow-up by email and phone and hand-over to Sales.
    • You generate new French-speaking contacts by using professional social networks, business directories and Cold Calling 2.0.
    • You support building the French business development strategy with the head of the French-speaking market.


Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business and Marketing from a business school or university.
  • You master the MS Office package and you have basic knowledge of the Adobe Suite InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • You are familiar with social networks and their animation and moderation.
  • You have a good sense of contact and relational quality.
  • You are enthusiastic, motivated and organized.
  • You have very good French and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • You might already have gained knowledge in Hubspot.
  • If you have experience in a similar position - it is a plus, but not required.

Step 1 - Interview

If your background is a match, we usually do the first interview in person. We like meeting applicants face to face, but we'll gladly hop on a Skype or phone call if you live remote. You'll meet someone from HR as well as a colleague from the department you'd be joining. We want to get to know the real you, so be yourself and ask questions! We'll gladly give you detailed insights into your future role and the company.
