Recognition follows HYPE's strategic relaunch around turning innovation into measurable business value

BONN, Germany – October 7, 2026 – HYPE today announced it has been named Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Innovation Management Software 2026 Vendor Assessment (doc #US53010426, August 2026). The recognition follows HYPE's strategic relaunch in September. That relaunch introduced a new corporate vision, Turning innovation into value, and a product strategy that focuses on merging collective intelligence and artificial intelligence.

Organizations do not lack ideas, improvement suggestions, or strategic initiatives. They lack a consistent way to decide where to invest and to show what those investments returned. The result is duplicated work, stalled projects, and portfolios leadership cannot explain.

HYPE gives organizations one system to capture opportunities, evaluate and prioritize them against strategic goals, and track execution through to measurable results in cost, growth, and efficiency. Over the past six years, HYPE has expanded the platform through the acquisitions of HLP Information Management, Viima, INNOSPOT, and Planbox, moving from an advanced enterprise workflow software to an AI-centric innovation data platform. HYPE reinvests approximately 30% of its revenue in R&D. The platform is aligned with ISO 56001, the international standard for innovation management systems.

HYPE's product strategy focuses on three shifts. First, HYPE is developing predictive intelligence that correlates historical outcomes, internal data, and external market trends to project the impact of initiatives before they are funded. Second, automated workflows reduce manual administration from intake and screening through portfolio review. Third, integration through open protocols such as MCP brings HYPE into the AI agents, Microsoft Copilot and Teams environments, and business intelligence tools organizations already use.

By correlating the innovation data on the platform with 3rd party systems and market data, HYPE aims to provide even more unique data insights for decision makers.

“Markets are moving too fast for any organization to absorb sunk costs or misguided investment decisions. Even the biggest tech players are being challenged to prove their value and right to exist. And that is exactly what HYPE does – we understand the use case of our customers, provide the platform to manage innovation at scale and the related data insights to guide major decisions while reducing their risk. I believe being named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape confirms our vision of where the innovation management market is going and corresponds to the feedback we receive from our customer base and the market,” said Sven Depner, CEO of HYPE Innovation.

“Organizations already hold the answers to many of their investment questions. They are buried in years of ideas, evaluations, and project results,” said Jessica Trias Eisenberg, Director of Product Management at HYPE Innovation. “Our AI turns that history into guidance, but the decision stays with people. The organizations that win will be the ones where human judgment and AI work together, not the ones that automate judgment away.”
