Our Story

We started in Bonn, Germany, with a simple belief: organizations have no shortage of good ideas. What they lack is the infrastructure to act on them efficiently and at scale.

Over the years, that belief shaped everything we built — our software, our services, and the way we work with clients. Today, HYPE serves clients in more than 30 countries across all industries.

We don't just deliver software and walk away. Our team includes former Fortune 500 innovation practitioners, transformation consultants, and operational specialists who work directly alongside clients to close the gap between what's planned and what actually gets done.

    Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

    • Sven Depner joined HYPE in March 2025 as COO and, in February 2026, took over as CEO of the HYPE Group.
    • Prior to this, Sven served 15 years in the IT Services Industry at Bechtle and CANCOM, in various international leadership positions in general management, sales, operations and strategy; latest as Vice President in charge of the corporate service portfolio, solution design & architecture organisation of the CANCOM Group.
    • During his time as digitisation executive, he gained about 8 years of in-depth experience in the international public sector, running major cloud and IT initiatives with the Institutions of the European Union in Brussels and with its member states as well as with the United Nations world-wide.
    • Before entering the tech market, Sven started his career at consumer audio giant Harman International.
    • Sven Depner holds a B.A. in International Management from FOM University in Munich / Aachen as well as an Executive MBA from Vlerick Business School in Brussels. He is an active doctoral researcher in the field of business and technology at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK. Moreover, Sven sporadically teaches as voluntary guest lecturer at different universities.

    • Ansgar brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the SaaS industry. He is Chief Revenue Officer at HYPE Innovation. 
    • Known for his transformational leadership style, he spent nearly a decade at BOARD International as General Manager for DACH, BeNeLux and Eastern Europe.
    • He also held leadership roles at SAP/Business Objects, Kofax and Platinum Technology, where he built a strong track record in enterprise software and revenue leadership.

    • His experience also includes finance leadership positions at Hologic Medicor, Ciber Germany, and GE.

    • He progressed through several technical roles in his career at HYPE, from Software Developer to Lead Developer.

Throughout her career, she has helped organizations build, implement, and scale successful innovation programs across a wide range of use cases, from employee-driven improvement initiatives to strategic innovation, portfolio management, and invention disclosure programs. Her experience spans consulting, sales, partner management, and professional services, giving her a well-rounded perspective on what it takes to drive innovation successfully.
    • Over the years, Anne has held a variety of leadership roles, working closely with customers and innovation experts around the globe. These diverse experiences have given her a deep understanding of both the strategic and operational dimensions of innovation management.
    • Today, she leads HYPE’s Professional Services team, helping organizations maximize the value of their innovation programs and achieve lasting business impact.
