Most ideas that are implemented are not the result of just one individual; they’re generally the result of different people combining their expertise to generate a better idea than would have been possible individually.

Collaboration is critically important to generating good quality ideas that could be implemented; therefore HypeIMT is designed to encourage employees to build upon the ideas of others, improving concepts, offering constructive feedback and their support for the idea.

Allowing the ‘Wisdom of Crowds’ effect to occur can be very powerful. Combined expertise and opinion can often yield interesting and new ideas.

Users have a range of collaborative tools available to them, including voting, merging ideas, tagging and recommending ideas. Healthy implementations can often be judged on the level of collaboration occurring within a given audience.
