The partnership includes an innovation management platform for the Mattel and Fisher-Price divisions, as well as an Inventor Relations platform, to further support the “Creating the Future of Play” vision. These platforms represent the next step for enterprise-wide innovation at Mattel.

The HYPE platform will enable inventors to engage in business-driven idea challenges, inviting them to submit, collaborate, and vote on ideas for new products, enhancements, cost-saving initiatives, and business process improvements. A new crowdsourcing platform will be created for the Mattel and Fisher-Price divisions. Replacing an existing social media platform, HYPE’s powerful crowdsourcing capabilities, idea evaluation workflows, and decision-making tools will enable Mattel to transform breakthrough ideas into actionable results and drive sustainable innovation across the organization.
